Painting BootcampFor this artwork I knew that I wanted to use acrylic. I noticed the way that pine trees have bunches of pines that I thought I could replicate with paint. I experimented with adding a pine texture to the wet paint. The color scheme I went for was split complementary, as I hope to add red flowers for an accent. I wanted to do a painting of Crow Wing Park. The park is a ghost town, but this is the only and last thing standing from the once flourishing town. I wanted to capture this landscape in an impressionist style. I wanted to also work on adding form to the artwork.
